Storm had never been by himself. He had grown up with his sister Mystique in CO Springs. As a grad student, I worked long hours in the lab and Storm made is clear that he was unhappy with the situation. So after a month, I got Shadow. She turned out to be a very sick kitty. She was allergic to chicken, which made feeding her hard but we figured it out. She passed away at the young age of 7 about three weeks before we moved. I miss her very much, but Juliet makes a pretty good substitute.
